Albert J. (Jon) Blumbergs, DVM

Dr. Jon, as he is best known, was born and raised on Long Island, NY. He graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell in 1988, and eventually settled in Central PA with his young family. Over the years, he’s met many wonderful owners and their companions, and is grateful for the trust they’ve given him.

He and his wife, Susan, live in Mount Joy, and have three grown children. He enjoys spending time with his family; working outdoors, and taking walks with their dog, Finn.

Tamara Morrow (Office Manager/Client Relations Specialist)

Tamara has worked over 30 years in customer service and human resources. She enjoys working with people and is very team motivated. Since a very young age, Tamara has had a passion for health and welfare of animals. She has been a client of Dr. Jon’s for over 25 years and appreciates his dedication in providing personalized care for each patient, and his open communication with others. Tamara loves the outdoors and is an avid gardener. She is a dedicated participant of the Revival of Nature’s Ecosystems for future generations. Tamara has been married to her husband, John for 40 years and they love their sweet Yorkie-poo named “Lil” who is their faithful companion.

Alaina Carberry (Veterinary Technician)

Alaina grew up in Wrightsville, PA and graduated from Eastern York High School in 2017. Growing up she always had a love for animals, and her family always expected that she would find a career in veterinary medicine. She attended Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, and graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program in the fall of 2020. At work she loves educating clients and treating her patients like her own pet. She enjoys phlebotomy and running lab work, taking radiographs, monitoring anesthesia, and in-house cytology. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and friends, as well as spending time at home with her corgi “Pepper”.

Faith Hottenstein (Veterinary Assistant)

Faith grew up on a small family farm in Marietta, PA. Growing up, she always loved to spend time with animals and had a dream of working in agriculture. Faith graduated from Elizabethtown High School in 2022, and is currently attending online school through Penn State with a major in Ag-Business. When working, she loves getting to know the clients, and assisting the doctor and technicians with handling the patients. At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, “Theo”, and cat, “Shepherd”. She also loves to spend time with her family and friends.

Brooke Wilson (Certified Veterinary Technician)

Brooke graduated from Elizabethtown High School in 2022 and always had a passion for animals and wanted to be a vet tech. She attended Lancaster County Career and Technology Center’s Veterinary Technician Program, and graduated in August of 2024 with a specialized associates degree in veterinary technology. In the Fall of 2024, she took the VTNE, passed, and became a CVT. In the workplace, she likes prepping for surgery, looking at cytology slides, filling prescriptions, and greeting all the furry patients when they come in. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her cat “Tony” and her fiancé Braden. In her free time, she loves music, reading, and doing crafts.
